Overview
The ControlByWeb® Water-Resistant Temperature Sensor (X-DTS-S3C) is recommended for most indoor and outdoor applications. Designed to be water and weather resistant, it is ideal for use in a variety of environments.
The probes is equipped with a 1-Wire temperature sensor (DS18B20) encapsulated in stainless steel. With the internal sensor thermally coupled to the steel tube wall, it ensures accurate response to the changing temperatures.
This sensor is included when ordering an X-300™, XW-110 Plus™, and Temperature Module™, and it is also compatible with all ControlByWeb® products that monitor temperature.
For continuous immersion in water, use a thermowell or other protective enclosure.
