Overview

Analog Inputs

Analog sensors (not included), provide many real-world values such as position, water level, flow, voltage, current, etc., which can be measured and viewed over an IP network using a web browser. Sensors that output a range of: ±1.28V, ±2.56V, ±5.12V, ±10.24V, 4-20mA can be connected to most ControlByWeb products with analog inputs. See products below for more details.

Analog Outputs

The X-417 has five precision 16-bit digital-to-analog converters (DACs). Each channel can be programmed for 0-5V, 0-10V, ±5V, ±10V, 4-20mA ranges. The voltage and current outputs for each channel are on a single connector terminal.

Most industrial analog applications require isolation between the power supply and analog outputs. The X-417 has a built-in DC-DC converter for providing isolated power to the outputs. No external isolated back plane power is needed.

Trigger Relay Contacts

Configure analog sensor values to trigger relays (connected to alarm signals, heaters, fans, etc.), and to send email messages. Analog sensor values can even control relays on other ControlByWeb products located somewhere else on a network!

Built-In Web Server

Our products have a built-in web server which allow analog I/O to be monitored or controlled with a web browser, XML formatted text, or Modbus/TCP. Fully configure our devices in minutes using a web browser. No additional software is needed.
